Spring Break Fun!

Spring break kicked off with Owen receiving a Super Student award at school. Then, mommy jetted off to Orange County for her annual college girls weekend trip. It was an amazing time of catching up and refreshment for her."Other auntie" arrived at the beach house on Sunday and we pretty much spent the entire week going to visit her. Mr. Ray actually sold the house and this was our last official time to enjoy it.;( We will always treasure our memories there.
As our two weeks continued, we had playdates, a fun dinner date with the Boldt family, replanted in our garden, Easter egg hunts, hung out in our PJs until 10 almost everyday...It was so lovely!!
On the tail end of our break, the Scott Family was here for a visit from Seattle. This was our first time together with all our children. Peter and Cheryl lived in San Diego before having kiddos. We only had Owen at the time of their move to Seattle. It was so fun watching our kids playing and getting to know one another. What a special time.

Grammy and Papa came down for a visit to watch Owen play basketball and baseball, and to watch Elizabeth try out for soccer and play tennis. It was a fun, yet busy weekend. They also got watch Adam while Mom and Dad went to work on Monday and Tuesday. It was such a special time to have Grammy and Papa to ourselves. Love you both so much!

Happy Heart Day from the Heaths!

 We hope everyone has a fun Valentine's Day. Owen and Elizabeth had a minimum day today so they came home and we worked on making heart shaped pizzas for dinner tonight!(Thanks for the idea Tina W.) Yummy! They also had chocolate covered strawberries for their afterschool snack! This fun holiday just reminds us to let our loved ones know how much we love them! Don't forget to give lots of hugs and kisses to those you love, not just today, but all year around. Life goes by too fast to not do that!

A Visit with Auntie and Uncle

Aunt Joanna and Uncle Nick met up with us at the SD Safari Park last Saturday. It was a cool and wet day but it was so nice because the park was not crowded at all. We took our time enjoying the park and ended our day at El Indio for dinner. The kids were excited because Auntie and Uncle were staying over for a sleepover! We were able to enjoy a little more time with them at home as well. Auntie Joanna even helped Owen with his family tree project. Thank you Auntie Z!:) You rock.

Fun in the Snow!

We took a last minute trip up to the Lake Arrowhead area for some fun in the snow. Some friends recommended a place called Snowdrift Snow Tubing. We would definitely recommend this place to families for a easy and fun day of tubing. It is $12 per person for one hour so it sounds costly, but an hour is plenty of sledding on these, fun, fast and steep hills!

Happy 2013!

Happy New Year! Our little family headed over to Balboa Park and enjoyed free admission at the Railroad Museum, then played around one of the park fountains. It was such a beautiful day and a relaxing way to spend the first day of 2013. We are so just so thankful for a happy and healthy family. We hope everyone has a wonderful new year and a year to be thankful for all that we have been given!

Happy 6th Birthday sweet Elizabeth! She is truly growing into such a sharp and witty gal. She has a goofy side to her that we all love as well! Bugs loves to joke and be silly, but also enjoys being quiet and have her own imaginative play. We love our precious girl and thank the Lord for her everyday. Happy 6th Birthday Bugaboos!
