Our First Charger Game!!

My brother, Robert is a pilot and one of his contracts is to fly the owner of the Chargers to and from games. He was very gracious and asked his boss for 5 tickets(Plaza Level-which was crazy and so perfect for our family of 5. Plaza level is the 2nd section up from the field!)to the December 29th Charger Game vs the Kansas City Chiefs! We had so much fun as a family that afternoon! The game was amazing and the Chargers made it to the playoffs that day!! The energy at the game was amazing. I have a new appreciation for NFL football after watching it in person! Thank you Uncle Robert for such a memorable gift for our family! The kids nominated you as Uncle of the Year!

Happy 9th Birthday Owen!

Owen's 9th Bday

Our little "extremely" is growing up way too fast, but we are so thankful for such a loving son and big brother. A precious gift from God. Owen's quote this morning, " I wish going to school on your birthday was against the law." Wouldn't that be nice. We love you so much sweet Owen!

Sedona Thanksgiving!

So much to be thankful for! We packed up our kiddos and our car and headed to Sedona, AZ for the entire Thanksgiving break. Grammy and Papa picked up a time share this year and we were able to enjoy it over the break. Each family took a meal night and then was responsible for their own breakfasts and lunches. It really worked out very well, and all the cousins had such a great time together. It was so fun to watch them be together. Sweet Adam took to his oldest cousin Abby(14 years old) so well. He would have spent every minute with her if he could. So sweet!
We are drove two hours out of Sedona to enjoy the Grand Canyon for the day. What a marvelous sight! We also did a Thankmas one evening because we will not be seeing everyone at Christmas this year. We are truly thankful for a healthy family that enjoys spending time together. Thank you Lord for all our blessings!

Great Halloween/Birthday Week!

Boy! Halloween has come and gone! The week began with a fun concert for mom and dad. It was a last minute treat that we counted as a night out and birthday celebration for mom. It was a rockin' country band called The Zac Brown Band. As the week went on, we carved pumpkins and got ready for the big Halloween day(which is also mom's birthday). This year Halloween didn't seem as rushed and crazy. It was mellow yet so much fun! Even I(mom) had a fun day celebrating with lunch with Dad and Adam, followed by some delicious cupcakes from a former student.

College Reunion Continues in CV and Pasadena

After we arrived home from Santa Barbara, our reunion continued with another fun visit from the Pelascini family. After they went home, the Monleys arrived for a couple nights before we all headed up to Pasadena for Jeremiah's fellas annual family event. As you can see from the pictures above, there are a lot of children among us.(33 to be exact with a few families not in attendance). We were thankful to catch up with the whole crew, but it was also nice to have the Pelascinis and Monleys at our place for more one on one catch up.:) More wonderful friends to be thankful for from our Westmont College experience! What a crew!

15 Year College Reunion!

We headed up north, spent some time at Babcia's house(see fun pumpkin patch pics above), left our kiddos there, and kept driving to our alma mater: Westmont College. It has been 15 years since we graduated from there and both of us are still so proud and thankful to have attended such an amazing college. Walking the campus again, chatting with alums at a reunion brunch, and meeting the current president in his own home, reminded us of the gifts we were given here when we attended and all these years later with life long friendships we continue to grow.
We spent time with friends on Saturday night and Sunday morning which was such a blast as well. Thank you Edgar family for opening up your home to us! You rock.

We headed back to pick up our kiddos refreshed and ready to see them again. We drove up to LA, walked around the historical farmers market, and Grove shopping center. Babcia bought Elizabeth her first official American doll as an early Christmas/Birthday gift. It was fun to see Elizabeth's delight in the whole experience. Our kids are so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents as well. So much to be thankful for. Thank you Lord for all people and experiences you have put in our lives.:)
