Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween from our family to yours. We had a great celebration this year. Our kiddos have been able to wear this year's costumes quite a few times at various Halloween celebrations. Owen was excited to be a SD Padre (his little league uniform from last season!), Elizabeth was a traditional Polish dancer (Mommy's costume from when she was a little girl!) and Adam was Thomas the Tank Engine (one of Owen's old costumes!). We did not have to spend a cent on costumes this year. Woo hoo!
Earlier today, Mom and Dad got to go out on a breakfast/bike ride date for Mom's birthday! It was such a treat. The kids came home from school and we also had a small family celebration at dinner. It was a delightful day for everyone!
We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween as well!

We love Fall! Have you been booed this Halloween?
Our family loves to see the seasons changing. Not that we have much of it down here, but there are traces of pumpkins growing and leaves turning color. It is fun to see our kids' excitement when fall holidays start approaching. Halloween is the first one on our list and its so fun to prepare for it. The pumpkin seeds we planted actually grew into pumpkins! Other things like cucumbers and watermelons have been popping up too. The work we put in during late spring actually paid off! Happy Fall to everyone!
On another Halloween note: We got booed last night! It was hilarious! Our neighborhood is sharing Halloween cheers through this great website. Check it out and spread some cheer in your neighborhood: www.beenbooed.com

Fall Break and Mommy finally gets to walk!!
Mommy got the doctor's approval to walk with care so we packed up and headed to our pre-accident vacation plans: Disneyland for two days and our annual beach house trip at Mission Beach! It was sure nice for us to get out as family after being home bound for a while. We had fun family and friend visits along they way: Jessica and her precious kiddos at CA Adventure, The Boldt Family and Grammy and Papa at the beach house. What a memorable time we had together!
**One highlight at the beach house: O and E decided to sell lemonade, so we bought a mix and cups from Costco and they made $92!!! $12 went back to mom and dad for the products. The kids got to pocket the rest. We could not believe the response from customers on the boardwalk. People were stopping by and just handing them dollars and not taking lemonade.:) The cute factor played a big part.:)

Life Does Go On (Even with Mommy's broken foot:))
Its been 3 1/2 weeks since Jeremiah and I were in our motorcycle accident and I realized right away-life does go on. No stopping it. I might be on hold, physically, but everyone and everything continues as it should. For example: Soccer Season! O and E were excited to play in their first game. Papa, Grammy and Daddy were able to cheer both of them, as well as see them score a few goals each! Wish I could have been there but the season just started so I will be there in no time.
Life with a broken foot has been challenging physically and emotionally. The Lord is continuing to mold my mind and heart on a daily basis. I wish I could heal faster and get moving, but this is where I'm at right now and I want to show my children that anyone can endure through life's challenges. Especially with the Lord on your side.

Fun Firsts This Summer
Fun Firsts this summer:
1st picture: Elizabeth got her own loft bed! Since she started kindergarten this summer, we figured she needed her own place to do her homework. And boy does she like it.:)
2nd picture: This was Elizabeth's very first bus ride to school. She has been watching and walking Owen to the bus for 2 years and she finally got her chance. She doesn't want to get to school or go home any other way. So cute and such a big girl. (notice how sweet Adam can't get his eyes off the big bus! He's got a few years to go!)
3rd picture: Even though school has started for us, summer is San Diego still rocks on the weekends. All three kids were enjoying a spin on their Mustang so I thought I'd get a shot. Adam has been scared of this thing for a couple months and finally decided he loves it! Especially when Sissy is driving him around.
4th picture: Mommy walked Owen to a neighbor's house for his first official sleepover this evening. We've had lots of friends over for sleepovers at our house, but Owen could not wait to walk over to his buddy Colin's house on his own. What a big second grader he is now. These little snippets of growing up are always a little heart wrenching for mama but life moves on and we just have to enjoy it as it goes.

First Day of Kindergarten for Elizabeth and First Day of 2nd Grade for Owen!
Yes our summer break is over and today was the first day of school. Our sweet bug-a-boos went to her first day of kindergarten with great excitement. She is not one to show strong emotion, but you could tell with her sweet smiles and preparation before the big day, that she was excited. Owen's 2nd grade teacher happens to be his former kindergarten teacher so he was thrilled to have her again as well. Mommy also packed up and headed to school to greet her own students, so 3 out of the 5 So Cal Heaths will be at Marshall School this year. What a fun year ahead!

Happy Birthday Jeremiah!
Happy 37th Birthday Jeremiah! We love you so much! Today we started celebrating by dropping off our kiddos at a friend's house(Thank you Heibert Fam!) for a couple hours, hopping on the motorcycle (yes, motorcycle!) and having breakfast on Coronado Island. Jeremiah's birthday/Father's Day/Christmas/maybe another birthday gift was a motorcycle!! He is really enjoying it and so are the rest of us when we get a chance to hop on for a ride. Later today, we had naptime, followed by a fun pool party. A great birthday celebration for daddy!
