Happy Birthday Babcia!

We headed up to Newbury Park to celebrate Babcia's birthday! O, E and A also got to spend time with cousins which is always a highlight. It was also so fun to watch mom(aka Babcia) enjoying time with friends she's had since I was a little girl. Two of them are pictured above with mom. They have watched me grow and have been such dear friends to my mom for a long time! What a gift. Happy Birthday Mom! We love you so much and are so thankful to spent the weekend with you.

Camping!

Even though school is now in session, we are still having some weekend fun this summer! We met some great friends up at Green Valley Falls in the Cuyamaca State Park and camped out a couple nights. The company and weather were fabulous. A fun time was had by all. Thanks Brown Family!

First Day of School! Yes..it is already here!

We started our week preparing for school by getting our annual check ups. I couldn't resist this pic of O, E, and A in their scrubs with Dr. Nguyen. Then the first day of school arrived in a flash! Owen is now a big 3rd grader and Elizabeth an official 1st grader. Wow! Where does the time go? Sweet Adam gets to do preschool at home me because I'm taking the next two years off from teaching! Woo Hoo! We were all thankful that our transition back to school went smoothly. O and E are excited about their new teachers, seeing all their friends again and beginning another year at Marshall.

Happy Birthday Jeremiah!

Jeremiah's birthday(July 21st) came around right before the kiddos went back to school. He requested to celebrate by going to the golf range(the evening before:)), taking a bike ride to the park and having a bbq at our place with just us. We had a very relaxing day celebrating with him. We love you so much and are so thankful for such a sweet husband and father.

Summer Fun and lots of it:)

Our six week summer break was a whirlwind but loads of fun! We began the summer with Forest Home Family Camp. What a refreshing time as a family. We also met some wonderful new friends along the way. We love Forest Home and can't wait to go back!
Next, we hit the road once again and stopped at Babicia and Dziedek's house. They graciously watched O, E and A while Mom and Dad went away to celebrate our 15th anniversary at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. What an amazing treat. Thank you Babcia and Dzidek!
We packed up once again and headed up north to visit Uncle Robert and Ciocia Iwona at their new beautiful home in Foresthill, CA. They were amazing hosts and provided us with lots of fun and relaxation.:)
A few days later, we headed down to Pleasanton to visit Papa, Grammy and Auntie Jenny, Uncle Steveo and cousins. That was also a very precious time to spend with family. Cousins are the best. Wish we all lived a bit closer, but when we do spend time together, we are all in!
The following weekend, when we had returned home, we had a weekend visit from the Pelascini family. We had a blast catching up with them again! Mommy also had an awesome night out with her BFF, Jessica to celebrate Jess's birthday.:)
As our summer vacation was coming to an end, we played on Coronado island with the Thomas family, made slurpees in our slurpee maker(thanks Babcia!), and went to the pool...ALOT!
Here are a few highlight pics from each stop. It was very challenging to pick just a few pics from each place because of all the fun we had, but enjoy the glimpse! This summer break will definitely be a memorable one for all of us.

Quick Family Visits!

Papa and Grammy stopped for a brief visit to watch O and E play baseball and soccer, as well as giving Adam early birthday wishes, on their way to Sedona. During the same weekend, Wujek Robert was flying the SD Charger owners back to SD so he made a quick stop at our house after Grammy and Papa left. It was a fun filled weekend, mostly hanging out downtown at a Padre Game and having a tasty lunch on 5th. What a whirlwind weekend, but so fun to spend time with family.
