Some April and May Adventures

April and the beginning of May were filled with many new additions. Owen and Elizabeth began a new golf program called Pro Kids/First Tee San Diego. They are really enjoying it so far.  We love it because it not only teaches the game of golf, but life skills as well. We are all very impressed by the program and would highly recommend it to families.
Elizabeth had some field trip fun with her 2nd grade pals at the San Diego Zoo. This trip reminded us of the community blessings we have in our neighborhood. Neither of us were able to chaperone but we were so thankful and confident that Elizabeth was safe and being cared for by great parents and teachers.
In the middle of May, the Boldt family of 6 plus a puppy moved in for 5 weeks. They were in between selling and closing escrow on a new home so we offered our place in the interim. Though our house was very full with people and stuff, sweet memories were made and all the kiddos had a blast being housemates for over a month. A great perk was a night away with my favorite man. The Boldt family rocks!
Mother's Day has come and gone but my family made me feel very loved that day. My usual favs of spending time together on a bay bike ride, Chipotle and Pinkberry yogurt for dessert made my day so sweet.
There is so much to be thankful for! Thank you Lord for all our undeserved blessings!

Spring Break Adventures

Our little fam has had a good balance of travels and just hanging around the house during this 2 week spring break. Our schedule is so full when school is in session, its nice to take a break from routine once in a while. Picture highlights are shown above:
-Chillin' at the pool with friends
-Hangin' at the beach and seeing Ciocia Julie there
-A 2 day trip to the Yosemite Valley! Papa and Grammy were able to join us on Papa's 71st birthday. On our way home, we also a visit with Babcia and Dzidek. What a treat!
-Aunt was in town visiting with friends and we were able to meet up with her for a visit as well.
-Enjoyed a paddleboarding session on Coronado Bay for our last official Friday off!

A good time was had by all. Now we are gearing up for our last quarter of school and can begin our countdown to summer!

Hello March!

March is here and we were able to kick it off with Adam's very first baseball season! Owen is taking a break from baseball and continues to play basketball, but our littlest guy was so excited to begin a season of his own. Elizabeth continues to play piano and sing in the school choir. Still having my teaching credential allowed me to get a free fun card to Sea World along with 3 complimentary tickets so our whole family was able to take a day and enjoy the park together. Adam has a free preschool fun card pass so he and I get to enjoy Sea World quite often. Life is full and busy with school and all our extras but we try to continue to be thankful to the Lord for all He has given us.

February Highlights

February was full of fantastic favorites and fun festivities! Basketball season was in full swing for Owen and Elizabeth. Having Dad as their coach made it even more memorable. Babcia and Dziadek, as well as Papa and Grammy, made their way down to catch some of the basketball action.

I(mom) was able to be refreshed and encouraged at my annual college girls weekend. This year it was in Morro Bay. It is always such a blessing to be around beautiful life-long friends.

Adam had a great Post Office field trip as well as a Parent Preschool Day with me. Owen and I an experienced a jump back in time during Gold Rush Day for all the 4th graders at his school.

February has come and gone but was definitely a memorable one!

Happy New Year and Christmas Memories!

Many sweet memories were made at the Heath family Christmas this year. All 8 cousins, with Uncle Brandon sang some Christmas favorites before we opened presents. Owen and Elizabeth each had  special birthday celebrations with their cousins: Owen went to a Golden State Warrior game with Josh and the girl cousins had a tea party with Elizabeth at the American Girl Doll Story in SF. Another day was filled with an amazing and very windy trip to Alcatraz and dinner on the wharf. The main highlight/blessing was spending time together as a family and celebrating the birth of our Savior. We stayed long enough to ring in the new year together too! Happy 2015 to all!
