Too much fun!

The day after Disneyland we spent a few hours with the Boldt Family at the San Diego Zoo. During the summer, the zoo is open later in the evenings, so we had dinner, and took a stroll with our wonderful friends. Our kiddos have too much fun! Owen calls Maisey his best "girl" friend. I'm not sure who his best "boy" friend is, but I think Maisey would still be his favorite! Elizabeth and Avery had a fun time together as well.

We had such a wonderful day with the Fransz Family at the Big D. Owen wanted to go on every ride with Ciocia Jessica and/or Uncle Mike. Baby Ella (Jessica and Mike's little girl) was so adorable and such a mellow baby to have around. All of us took turns going on rides together and a highlight for Owen was watching Lightning McQueen cruise down California Adventure. Elizabeth's favorite attraction was the Winnie the Pooh ride. She went on it four times!

Owen and Elizabeth really enjoyed riding cousin Anna's scooter in Lake Tahoe. Anna was very gracious to share it with both of them. Owen always looked hilarious wearing Anna's pink helmet and of course riding a pink scooter.:) You might notice a couple spots on Elizabeth's nose. Its not chocolate or dirt. The poor little girl fell head first off a picnic bench and got a few injuries. She was very resilient and moved on from the accident very quickly. Mommy felt horrible for a little while but realized she was just fine!

The pictures below were taken on our family trip to Lake Tahoe. We were celebrating Jen's (Jeremiah's sis) 40th birthday. The weather was perfect and we had an amazing view from our cabin. Owen and Elizabeth had such a great time hanging out with their cousins. It was a very memorable trip.

Our cabin is behind us and this was our little beach that we got to relax everyday.

I wanted to give Elizabeth some pub since we shared a picture of Owen with his teachers. Elizabeth is becoming quite a little girl. (or I think she would prefer to be called a big girl.) She is 18 months in this picture.

Hey All,
Joanna and I are just getting this sucker going. The purpose is mostly to post pictures and videos of Owen and Elizabeth and document some family activities - no deep thoughts.The picture above is Owen and his first preschool teachers Miss Martha and Miss Jem. It took him a little while to warm up to the idea of preschool but now he totally loves it!

Fun at the Beach

This picture was taken at the Imperial Beach Pier. We headed down there to see the world renowned sandcastle contest but arrived too late in the day to actually see the sandcastles. Maybe next year!:)

This picture was taken at the end of June while Owen was being the sweetest big brother to his sissy. He is usually quite the big brother but does enjoy goofing around with Elizabeth.
