Fun times with Little Friends

We really love living in SD. Have you noticed that common theme in our blog? Our favorite part about living down here is that our family and friends enjoy visiting because there are so many fun things to do down here. Monique and Reese carpooled with Alison, Tallinn, and Adelaide and met up with Owen, Elizabeth and I at the Wild Animal Park today. It was a warm day but the kids still enjoyed looking at a few animals and then just playing in the water. The moms loved the water time because that gave us a better chance to catch up and chat for a bit. Fun times with friends are the best!

A Quick Visit with The Edgars and Some Fun Beach Time

Elizabeth, Owen, Bryan and Kate at Kono's patio in Pacific Beach.
Love the hugs!
The Edgars made their way to SD again this year to utilize their Sea World passes they purchased in July. We met for a quick breakfast down at one of favorite places in Pacific Beach: Kono's Resturant. It has yummy food for a super price and a patio that looks right out on Crystal Pier and the ocean. After the Edgars ventured to Sea World, the kids and I hung out on the beach for a while. Honestly, we don't get out to the SD beaches as much as we'd like. Whenever we do I thank the Lord for His beautiful creation and that we get to enjoy this fun city of San Diego.

Monley Family Visit

Nate, Katie, Finnegan, and Selah Monley came down for a visit this past holiday weekend. We had a great time at Sea World and just catching up at our place. Our kids got along so well. It was so fun to see them interact with each other. The Monleys are such a blessing to us. It was wonderful to spend time with them. The kids!

Happy Halloween!

We hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! We sure did. Last year at this time Elizabeth wasn't walking yet, so this was her first official year trick or treating. Every time she received candy in her pumpkin she was just amazed that all she had to say was trick or treat. She also held her pumpkin in one hand and a lollipop in the other. The lollipop was her favorite treat of the evening. Owen was already an expert at trick or treating and had no hesitation ringing our neighbors' doorbells and asking for candy! They both had a blast!

Carving Our Pumpkin

Hi again, its me Owen. Grammy, Mommy, Elizabeth and I also had a great time carving our pumpkin before Halloween night. Elizabeth and I could not believe how many seeds were inside! Grammy roasted some of the seeds later on and they were so tasty!

Reading and Playing with Grammy

Elizabeth and I(Owen) had a fantastic time with Grammy for the last week and a half. She has been hanging out with us while my mommy and daddy went to work. We have played lots of games together, read books and watched a couple movies. I really liked watching The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, the new Veggie Tales movie. Grammy left yesterday and we miss her so much. We can't wait to see her at Christmas. We love you Grammy!Hanging out with Grammy at Barnes and Noble. Mommy came with us on this trip.
