Basketball!

Upward Basketball season has begun! This is Elizabeth's first season on a basketball team. Today she scored 6 points, had 3 steals and 2 rebounds! Way to go Buggies! She came home and played more basketball in the yard. Daddy was in heaven! Our O scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. It was a fun start to the season.

No way: We get to go to Disneyland again!!!

We have a Polish family friend that works at the Disney Parks currently, and was very generous with free park hoppers he receives to let in family and friends. He walked our little family of 5 into Disneyland yesterday morning at no cost!!! We were able to spend the day enjoying both parks as a family. What an amazing gift.
That day, sweet Adam had lots of firsts because he is now over 40 inches tall. He was able to try out: Radiator Spring Racers, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and he even became a Jedi Knight!
To top it off Owen and Elizabeth were also chosen to be trained as Jedis. What are the chances of that!
A fun and memorable day was had by all. Of course we had a couple meltdowns, but you can move past them pretty quickly when you're at the Big D!!

Polish Christmas 2013

Our little family enjoyed a little Christmas in Chula Vista and an early visit from Santa and then it was off to Newbury Park for a Polish Christmas!
Polish Christmas 2013 was another memorable event! It was so fun to spend time with everyone and just enjoy each other's company. We even got Babcia out on the basketball court at the park one of the afternoons. We know it will be a special Christmas our kids will always remember.

Happy 2014!

It was a total last minute get together but it was such a blast. We were planning to have a quieter New Year with just one other couple but it turned into 4 couples with 8 kiddos. Parents and kids made it to midnight, barely, but we did.:) It was definitely easier to stay up with late with more company. Our party included food, drink, a dance party, a game called Quelf and of course a midnight toast to ring in the new year. A fun time was had by all!
