First Day of Kindergarten for Elizabeth and First Day of 2nd Grade for Owen!

Yes our summer break is over and today was the first day of school. Our sweet bug-a-boos went to her first day of kindergarten with great excitement. She is not one to show strong emotion, but you could tell with her sweet smiles and preparation before the big day, that she was excited. Owen's 2nd grade teacher happens to be his former kindergarten teacher so he was thrilled to have her again as well. Mommy also packed up and headed to school to greet her own students, so 3 out of the 5 So Cal Heaths will be at Marshall School this year. What a fun year ahead!

Happy Birthday Jeremiah!

Happy 37th Birthday Jeremiah! We love you so much! Today we started celebrating by dropping off our kiddos at a friend's house(Thank you Heibert Fam!) for a couple hours, hopping on the motorcycle (yes, motorcycle!) and having breakfast on Coronado Island. Jeremiah's birthday/Father's Day/Christmas/maybe another birthday gift was a motorcycle!! He is really enjoying it and so are the rest of us when we get a chance to hop on for a ride. Later today, we had naptime, followed by a fun pool party. A great birthday celebration for daddy!

Adam's Big Boy Bed!

As soon as we got home from our bay area travels, Adam officially moved into a big boy bed. He now shares a room with his big brother. The transition is actually going well for both nap and nighttime sleep. Mommy and Daddy are missing the crib just a bit because Adam is an early riser and when he was in his crib he would just play and hang out until we took him out, where as in his big boy bed, he is ready to face the world and tends to wake up his big brother. I guess that's life with a growing and energetic 2 year old!

Family Fun Up North

We headed up north to enjoy a week-long 4th of July celebration with Grammy, Papa, Auntie Jenny, Uncle Steve-o, Anna, Josh , Sarah, Other Auntie and Mary Jo. Our week was packed with a visit to the city, a day at the fair, a pool party, a sleepover in Grammy's shed and lots of hanging out with cousins. It was such a treasure to watch the cuzzies playing, laughing and building memories together. Another special treat was to hang out with our dear friends the Shermans in their new home and at the fair. Now we can have a visit with them up in Pleasanton as well. So fun! Our kids were very sad to leave and look forward to seeing everyone again.:) Thank you everyone for such a wonderful time! We love you all!
