Trip to the River

This was our 2nd Annual trip to the Colorado River with the Thomas Family. Matt, Chrystal, Jocelyn, Jasmine and Ava are very dear friends and we had a blast on the river with them this past weekend. Owen and Elizabeth enjoyed their time on the Thomas' boat and with their friends as well. Thank you for all the fun Thomas Family. You are all such a blessing to us! Our Trip to the Zoo

Alison and her kiddos: Tallinn and Adelaide, Jessica and her daughter, Ella ventured down to meet us at the zoo today. We had a nice time catching up and getting to know each others little ones better. It was my first time meeting Addie and Ali's first time meeting Elizabeth. Needless to say my kiddos had their moments and were ready for naps by the end, but it was still fun to hang out with precious friends. Thanks girls for coming down my way for a visit!

Weekend with the Kitzman Family

The Kitzmans are dear friends from Chula Vista who were called to the mission fields in Peru about 4 years ago. Currently, they are in the states on furloe for about a year. Dave, Mende, Parker and Levi are living in a family cabin up in the Big Bear Lake are and we are so excited because they are not too far from us. We had a fun and relaxing visit with them over the weekend. Here are a few pics from our trip. We look forward to more visits with them before they return to Peru.

Grammy Visits:)

Jeremiah's mom flew down to take care of the kiddos while I went to work on Thursday and Friday. Owen and Elizabeth love their Grammy and had fun showing her their daily routines. We feel so blessed to have such amazing grandparents for our children. Here's a cute pic of the three of them!

Weekend in Pleasanton

We went up to Pleasanton this past weekend to celebrate Papa and Grammy's (Jeremiah's mom and dad) 33 years of ministry at Valley Community Church. It was a wonderful retirement celebration. They are very loved at VCC. It was such an honor to be there with them. We love you Papa and Grammy! Here are a few pictures from our weekend.Dancin' away at the party!

Babcia came for a visit

My mom (a.k.a. Babcia which is grandma in Polish) came down to watch the kiddos on a couple of my workdays. They just love spending time with her! On Thursday evening, we took her to a Polish restaurant we discovered in Imperial Beach. They had very tasty Polish sausage and pierogi. Here are a few pics from our fun evening together. It was a perfect day to enjoy the beach. Thanks mom for coming down. We love you!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a fun time visiting family this weekend. We started off hanging out with Joanna's cousins, Julie, Andy and Jimmy. It was Owen and Elizabeth's first time meeting Jimmy and Andy. Then, we spent time with some of Joanna's old high school friends. After that, we spent more time with family and ended our fun weekend riding an MTA bus at JaJa's work.(Owen and Elizabeth's grandpa) A video will be posted shortly of the bus trip.:) Again, a weekend highlight for Owen and Elizabeth.

The Newbury Park Panther Crew: Reem, Carolyn and Joanna.

Carolyn and her husband, Sandeep are expecting the arrival of their baby girl Sofia, on December 10th. The Heath Family was actually driving up to NP for a her baby shower but I(Joanna) got the dates mixed up and we missed it! What a dork! We actually got to spend some more one on one time together at Carolyn's parents' house the next day. It worked out great!

When Jeremiah gets home from work, one of the first thing Owen's asks is "Tata can we go to the golf course?" If Daddy's not home too late from work, he rounds up the kiddos and heads over the range for a little while.
