Fun February!

Lots of fun events took place in February and we're already on to March. I've posted a handful of pics to give you a Fun February summary.

st Picture: Babcia with E and A. She came down for a visit to show some Polish friends SD for the day. We had a great time with them all.
nd- 4th: Valentine celebrations: We enjoyed a family valentine dinner at Pizzo's Pizzeria, a new place in our neighborhood. It was a hit! Jeremiah and I were able to have a long afternoon date the following Sunday where we tried another new place: The Neighborhood in downtown SD. So yummy and fun! The last pic is of E and I with flowers that Jeremiah bought for both his girls. Very sweet!
th picture: E received the Super Student of the month award. The focus was Courtesy. We were very proud of her! It was a plus because Owen received a surprise reading award that morning as well!
th: The cookie selling continued especially over the 4 day holiday weekend. We headed to Mission Beach twice and E achieved her cookie selling goal of over 200 boxes!!
th: On one of those beach cookie selling adventures, the boys came with us and we got to play at the beach as well. The weather has been incredible. It has felt like summer most days.
th- I got to venture away to Laguna Beach for my annual Westmont Girls Weekend! Oh so amazing and refreshing. I feel so blessed to have such beautiful(inside and out) women in my life. We've been doing it for 16 years but actually all met 20 years ago! Whoa!
th-We have a new little addition on Mondays and Fridays in our home. A and I get to hang out with 18 month old Hank. His momma went back to work and needed some childcare so we thought this would be great for our little family right now. He is such a blessing and the extra cash is such a help!
and final picture: I was asked to teach E's Girl Scout troop about Poland for an event called World Thinking Day that scouts attend every year. One of the wonderful moms took my old Polish costume(now E's) and created vests, skirts and head pieces for everyone in the troop. They learned about basic facts, were taught a "mini" folk dance and tried some piergois. The afternoon was such a blast and I think the girls learned a lot! Thank you Babcia for all your help!
